Yes, ladies and gentleman, it is with much joy I am here to begin the 10th edition of this popular game here on xboxamerica. Now let me start by saying thank you to everyone who has handled editions 2-9 so nicely and kept this fun game I took a chance on alive. So as you all know, this is the 10th screenshot challenge, so I wanted to spice it up a bit. I wanted to give this puppy a "makeover" and "shake things up a bit." Now without further delay, let me jump right in and explain how this version is going to work.
The rules will remain the same. A new shot every 24 hours and the ONLY way to earn a point for a round is via a PM to me with the correct answer. You only get 1 guess per round, so make sure you’re content with your answer before sending it in folks. If you post an answer in the thread, the shot will become null and void, no points will be awarded that round to anyone, you will be given a negative point, and AJ will be allowed to beat you senseless with a wiffle ball bat. Keep in mind this is a competition so feel free to seek out help, but be wary of who you help, if anyone.
Now for what you’ve all been waiting for, the fun stuff. I will be giving out 3 prizes again, only this time; they’re going to be BIG PRIZES.
1st place gets any XBOX360 retail game (special editions, and collectors editions don’t count) of their choice, brand new and unopened. Basically a $64.19 value.
2nd place will get any XBOX360 retail game of their choice, new or used (really their call) up to a $42.79 value.
3rd place will get their choice of a 3-month live code or a 1600-point card.
I’ll also have a few “random prizes” I’ll likely give out here and there for certain things. Such as longest streak of right answers, most consecutive wrong answers, etc. So this will be the biggest prize round yet.
Now, I have added a few changes this round so here they are:
1) The screenshots will not be just movies this time. I will be adding in some television screenshots as well. There won’t be a ton so don’t freak out, but there will be some in there this time.
2) The only movies that will be off limits from being posted this time are newer movies that have just hit theatres this year. There may be some movies made in 2011 in the challenges, but they will be movies that went straight to DVD. Again, no porno clips guys and gals.
3) I will be randomly giving the chance at bonus points after certain shots. The way it works is that if you see this Bonus Bonus, at the bottom of a screenshot round, that means after the shot is over, I will ask a question about that particular show/movie. The first 3 people who correctly answer the question with a PM to me will be given 1 bonus point. As I get the right answers, I’ll post in order those that got them right. Once I have 3 correct answers, the bonus round will end and the next shot will go up.
4) You’ll be playing to 27 points this time, just to keep it more entertaining.
