It might be a distance problem. To activate most stage fatalities, you need to be in Sweep or Touching distance. You can still activate the fatalities even if you jump when pressing the up button, you just have to push it with good timing, like every other button.
...and has anyone heard about when the first bit of DLC will be released? I know it's Kenshi and the new character Scarlet, but I have no clue when it's coming out and I gotta be honest, my MK buzz is wearing off.
Any luck with that DLC info? Kenshi will be cool. Don't know about Scarlet though. Id kinda like to see what they would do with Rain if he were playable (raise flame shield)

These ranked achievements blow fucking ass. Not to mention I have over 100wins online and no achieve thanks to quitters.
Btw I got jade unlocked and destroyed her lol

I'm sure that I will be passing on quite a bit of the online achievements. Good thing I'm not a completionist.

I remember the days of old whence I felt the need to completely finish every game. That abruptly stopped when I came across my first game with online achievements.

managed to get my 100 wins and 10 ranked win in a row achieve the other night. not worth the pissing and moaning. I now have 830 and require a couple more ranked achieves and then mastery of all fighters.
I am so burnt of this game, and probably wont touch it again until dlc arrives or if there is a sure fire way to boost the ranked achieves.

DLC to arrive within a months time frame along with some patch work to the game. The Scarlet character will be making her debut along with other free stuff. The patch work involved will fix some balancing issues.

Yeah, I saw that. All the preorder DLC for like 400 MSP. Which works for me because now I can trash all these damned receipts I have. I only ever got Ermac, Scorpion, and Kitana.
They're also releasing a ton of Avatar MK stuff! I'm so excited!

Glad they'll be releasing the preorder skins. Been wanting to try 'em all out. My MK buzz has worn off a bit but mainly due to hardly ever being able to find a match online.

The Klassic Skins pack is available now. I just bought it and it's nothing to get excited about, but bringing back some of the old fatalities is a treat. But hey, it's only 400MP.

I can see how some would like the new skins and fatalities. For me though, I don't think I would get a lot out of them especially if ALL the characters are not included (which I don't think they are). Yeah they are new and cool but thast wouldn't last very long (for me). Besides, I have hard enough time peforming the fatalities that came with the game. Now when they come up with some dlc characters...... that would be cool.

Skarlet DLC has a release date. June 21st. In addition to including the Skarlet character and her new fatality, the DLC will also feature Classic MK3 skins for Cyrax and Sektor. No price has been announced yet.
Also, future DLC has been announced and will include Kenshi, Rain, and an unspecified character.

...hopefully, it'll only be like 400MP, because one character and 2 skins is not worth 800MP IMO.

Considering how cheap the other DLC was, I'd say the new DLC is like 120 MSP at most for the 2 skins. Skarlet should be free I thought?
