lag is a huge factor still as the servers are not dedicated, and everyone acts as a host, who creates a lobby and all.

Most of the people playing the game online were probably the same ones who had pirated it early on and had been playing with the new characters for days on end. They would of course be chomping at the bits to get a "real" game and get online and "pwn n00bs" who legitimately purchased it and hopped online.
What I've noticed from playing the AI a lot today, Capcom changed it so that the CPU, on Medium at least, acts more like a "scrub" player--they will spam the character's special moves and bread & butter until you start tossing their salad, then they do stuff like cross ups.
It's nice because it means now, if a person is brand new to Street Fighter, they can actually learn the ropes by grinding the CPU, because a lot of people do that same thing online, they play lazy until they sense a challenge.

SSF 4 Had my attention for awhile today pretty much all i did was do trails an play all the online modes. Tomorrow im up if anyone wants to do anything.
