Man, this is going to be a fun game to watch!!
I'm picking the Colts in a shootout. I like the Colts offense. They are the only team in the league that can be successful with a complete lack of a run game. The reason? Dallas Clark. He is every bit as good as a running game. He brings the safeties in just like a running game, and ALWAYS causes matchup problems. You can put a linebacker on him, but the DBs have to cheat, and you can't afford to push CBs toward him with the Colts' weapons on the outside. Manning unloads too quick for the Saints' defense without trying to get Corner or Safety blitzes, but that could backfire if Peyton is able to stand them down and get the ball in the air before he's hit.
The Saints can win with turnovers, but the Colts don't give the ball away much. The Saints will need a pick-six or a punt return for a TD to win. Those plays are essentially 14 point swings in any game that ends up being a shootout. 7 points for the defensive stop, and 7 for the score.
I don't think the Saints will pull it off, though. Colts win 42-31.
