Theres one thing i wanna know. How old is sam fisher, hes seems like an old man who can do anything.
late 30s or early 40s i believe... i know for a fact he's out of his prime though, because he was at his prime in Chaos Theory and that was two games ago. and i'm not just saying that just because Chaos Theory is the best game, it was the way Sam handled himself and the way he talked during that game. in Double Agent, he kind of loses his edge a bit and isn't as professional, or maybe that's just because the game mechanics kind of sucked and didn't allow him to be at his best...who knows lol
I think it's more like late 40s to early 50s . . . In the game the have flashbacks 20 years before and his daughter is in her twenties . . .
I just think it's funny in the game how the mercs refer to him as
"Old man Fisher"

haha idk, ive owned every splinter cell n i usually breeze through them while kicking ass lol. figured this 1 wouldnt pose too much of a problem so i just started on realistic n played straight through till i beat it...loved it even though it was more of a shooter then stealth but hey, thats evolving a series for ya...always love ubisoft games.

I'm assuming this game is very similar to other Splinter Cell games in that it relies heavily on stealth?
Didn't like the other ones for that reason and want to make sure and avoid this if it's the same, I don't have the patience for it!

@ freaky, nope havent seen/heard of that problem, try resetting ur cache or callin support?
@kent, in a sense yes it relies heavily on stealth...at first, but towards the end of the game i found myself more running and gunning/hiding behind cover then actually gettin to utilize stealth because of the way the levels are layed out towards the end(ie cramped hallways/enemies surprise attacking YOU)...but at the same time it doesnt really feel like the old splinter cells, the single players more streamlined/accessible n pretty short and easy. The coop on this game is hella fun though, with tons of gametypes, coop campaign, hunter, last stand, infiltration, and face off modes(vs). All in all Im enjoyin the game so far...play the demo first and see if u like it, the campaign level from the demo is from later on in the game.

i stumbled upon a money/pts glitch today if anyone wants to use it. yesterday before i turned my xbox off i upgraded all my armor and bought all the color schemes, then i exited to the dashboard before hittin b and backin out of the little inventory screen after the achieves unlocked and when i loaded up the game today i had all my points back in my bank n the upgrades werent on all the armors anymore. found this to be useful since i used those points to then upgrade all my guns and i now have a shit load of points just sitting there with a bunch more challenges to complete and all the upgrade achieves unlocked. i think this works as long as u dont hit b too many times and completely back out of the inventory screen(this being done in the deniable ops item selection menus)

wow, so I was playing the Downtown level last night and damn, the checkpoints system suck. also, it felt more like a run and gun at that point as there weren't many places to sneak around, the environment kind of forced a run and gun tactic. and let's not forgot how everyone can see you from pretty far away -_-
and the second half of the Resevoir level? just ridiculous, that was an all out firefight. i ended up running out of gadgets just to get by everyone on NORMAL
