SICK! I love Saint's Row! The xbla game sounds like a good idea too. The only thing they need to improve to keep me hooked for longer is GTA style multiplayer with lots of people not the 2 player coop and stupid deathmatch types they had before
Saints Row: The Third

They finally announced the news I have been waiting to hear. Saints Row 3 has now been confirmed. Titled as Saints Row: The Third, we take the helm as the leader of the Third Street Saints running a worldwide crime organization. It is still unsure if we are returning to our hood in Stilwater or will be in a brand new fictional city. The story itself will be centered around a huge conflict between the Third Street Saints and a rival crime organization known as the The Syndicate.
I was expecting to hear news of it's release on the last E3 conference and was very disappointed to learn that it had been pulled last minute. The reason given was the game wasn't ready and that they had needed time to re-polish the game with a better engine and to rebuild their tech on the game. With an extra year under their belt for development, Volition is stating that the game will be absolutely gorgeous and completely insane. Their may even be the possibility that 50 cent will lend his musical talent to the game.
Release date is scheduled for the Holiday season of 2011.
Also on the horizon will be a spin-off title of Saints Row, Saints Row: Drive-By. It will be available through Xbox Live Marketplace and will release sometime before Saints Row: The Third. Drive-By will feature 3d graphics and will unlock bonus content for Saints Row: The Third.
