I figured I'd give everyone some tips for playing this. I found the best combination of powers for me was band mate, flame notes and whichever instrument is the most consistent throughout the song. Use your band mate to either get your multiplier up for a certain instrument while you work on another or take a really fast section and let it loose so it gets a ton of points for you while you play the next instrument with the most notes. Anytime the flame notes come up follow them and get as many as possible, each time you should at least get around 10,000 points. If you followed this strategy it should make gold starring alot of the songs easier. You don't have to be awesome at this game to gold star the songs, you just need to know the songs and when to unleash your powers and when to play which instrument, hope this helps everyone.

I tried the demo and I honestly don't know to think of this game. The switching back and forth really turns me off with this game.

It took some getting used to, I look at it like this. You get songs cheaper than you could buy them outright and you get 500 achievements. Its not the best game but its addictive, they still should have a mode for regular instruments.

Thanks for the info. on this Blackhole. I've tried the demo and it seems kind of cool and very different. I'm thinking about getting it but just wasn't sure about that gold star achievement.
