It shouldn't be that way, but it is. A degree makes you employable the way a high school diploma did 10 years ago. I'd never counsel someone not to get a degree... My advice would be not to wuss out halfway- go to grad school. That's how you get jobs in the field you want to work in now.
i totally agree and thats complete horseshit how this nation has turned out. i am taking german courses and then i'm getting the fuck out of here upon graduation to germany likely and get a nice job there. i dont see why not...
Germany has pretty tight laws about who is allowed in. Not only do you have to have a degree but it has to be in a specific field, and you have to be considered a "highly skilled worker." A better bet would be to transfer to a German university and get your degree there- then you get a year to find a job before they kick you out.

That's the truth. My cousin has a masters in English and she bounced from crappy job to crappy job until she ended up being a personal trainer and professional body builder.
I feel like college advisors should warn about this shit, though. Liberal arts degrees have been essentially useless since I was in high school, saw Up Close and Personal and wanted to major in journalism/ mass communication. My counselor laughed my ass out of her office.
I wish my high school councilor wasn't on crack (literally) and told me about that as well, wouldn't of wasted 3 1/2 years on a n English degree only to switch because the only job openings/what I got offered was editing text books for 65 k base a year.

Posting this on my new iPad. Well it's not brand new. Found a used 32GB 3rd gen on amazon and it's in pristine condition. I also just got a new 16GB iPhone 5 with switching to Sprint. I was still rockin a 3GS and had been a customer with AT&T since 2007 but they can eat a bag of dicks! I recently learned that both they and Verizon donate money to and support Tea Part Caucus members. I was really considering going with Credo Mobile but they don't offer iPhones yet. They do have all the latest Samsung models though if you're into them and they're offering up to a $350 early termination credit if you have a contract to get out of with your current carrier. They're a progressive company that supports 40 progressive non profits like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. They operate on Sprint's network since Sprint happens to now rank #3 on the list of the top 500 greenest companies in America. Sprint also offers a buy back recycle program and will give you account credit for your old phones which they then recycle. I'm getting a credit for $31 for my 8GB 3GS which is more than any other buy back site is offering.

As much as I'm loving my Sprint Service (Unlimited 4g LTE ftw!) with my old Employee Discount.
I wouldn't recommend that. Click Me I sold my Old iPhone 3g 16 GB for $350 some time ago. If you know how to Jailbreak and Unlock your phone so any GSM enabled provider you're iPhone's price seriously goes up.

For some reason episodes 3 and 4 of that stupid Walking Dead game were running very clunky and freezing up often on me today, didn't have that problem with episodes 1 and 2 though, anyone else have this issue? Also, Kenny was giving me shit at the end of episode 4 even though I sided with him the entire game, I was like what the fuck is he talking about? Stupid choice system makes no sense when it doesn't even seem to work.
