I'm watching coverage at Rev3Games, & they just revealed that every XBOX ONE comes with a demo for Kinect Sports Rivals. Not sure if it's already installed on the hard drive, or it's a free download- but that is available day one.
I'm wondering when we get home around 12:30am that launch day... if we have to install the games to play, that's ~60GB per game, how long will these installs take? Hopefully the transfer speed on these Blu-Ray's are quickly than 360s. Time will tell.

The Xbox One comes equipped with a 6x Constant Angular Velocity Blu Ray Drive which has a Maximum read speed of 27 MB/s compared to the DVD Drive's 9 MB/s so while yes it will take longer, it won't be too bad for most games.

^ good to know. Still wondering if the region-free (for games) means region free for Blu-Rays, too. Guess I'll find out on launch. I personally don't have a Blu-Ray player, so glad for that asset. Region locks should be done with anyway. Money is money. If you want it, buy it.

There is an achievement called "inviting friend" and you get stuff for the leaderboards if you have friends. And also trading wins and stuff. But it's an awful grind... I wouldn't start it if you haven't, though. It's going to take forever.
