I'm still havin a problem, but the status page is up now and they tweeted me back about it being such. My messages aren't available and I can't send any text messages, invites, friend requests, or otherwise. I found quite a few others having issues as well and some things have been fixed. I'm just playing the waiting game.

I'm not going to be able to avoid meat. I love meat, especially double cheeseburgers and buffalo chicken wings. I don't drink, but living off of fast food for 8 years probably did this. I just quit caffeine on July 1 and my meat addiction will have to wait until that one is under control. Mountain Dew Kickstart tried to literally give me a heart attack after a year of drinking one daily.

Well even if you reduce it a little bit, it can help.

I love double cheeseburgers as well. Speaking of which, I'm hungry. I'm going to go eat a hot dog covered in cole slaw....lol

Everything on Xbox is working again and my foot finally stopped hurting so much. The nightly fridge raid just took place and I drank an entire 36 oz bottle of V8 at one time. How that happened, I do not know, but the previously full bottle is sitting beside me empty and I feel slightly full.

has anyone on xba ever used the blockbuster rental service (through mail)? im thinking of giving them a shot, they have about the same prices as gamefly and im kinda hopefull that they are faster too, any first hand opinions on this topic would be great,thanks.

I did briefly when they first started (years ago).

I'm sure things have probably changed over the years, but my number one complaint was the order in which movies were received. Have 50 movies in your que? Here, let me just send you #46... It was totally random. Oh, you wanna watch Saw 1, Saw 2, and Saw 3? Here's Saw 2 and Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

At that time, they were really just starting so they were probably working out the kinks. I joined just to rent an obscure foreign film that Netflix had listed as unavailable on DVD. I tried Blockbuster for a few months, but ultimately decided Netflix was better for me.

Another plus, they offered coupons for in-store rentals, so if you lived near one (I didn't), it was an added bonus.

So yeah, 2/10 would not recommend.

Edit: Good lord, I'm off my game today. Just realized we were talking about games, not movies... Still, probably much of that same still applies.

There's been other threads archived on the subject but I did use Blockbuster's online service before and it was plain awful, I was pissed at Gamefly for sending me stuff out of order on a regular basis but Blockbuster made Gamefly look like a damn saint, I canceled my Blockbuster service pretty quickly, not to mention their selection of games was awful at the time, no idea if they improved that.

, i was thinking they might be better than gamefly but i guess that's the attraction when you have gone without a rental service for a year or two, oh well, guess im sticking to game$top :rolleyes:
