Time for the real refs to come back!
It was Jennings' fault.
What in the actual fuck was he up in the air trying to catch that football for?? A defender is NOT a receiver on a play like that, he is a volleyball player! He was the first player to touch that ball. He needed to spike that fucking thing two feet into the turf. For some reason he wanted an interception which put the game into the refs hands in the first place.
Bad call? I guess. But that would've not been the case were it not for undisciplined, selfish play by Jennings.

And not even a big fat person!
Also, I don't want to pretend that I'm ignoring the push off, because that was a flat out blown call. I'm just saying that if the ball is batted down like it should be, the interference is a moot point.

Yeah and how well did knocking the ball out of the air work for the Titans? Last time I checked they knock the ball down and a Lions receiver caught it for a touchdown. So I think it was a perfectly reasonable thing to do, not a selfish thing.
Yeah, well even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. My point is that he gave Tate a chance to make a play by keeping the football off of the floor. It was absolutely NOT a reasonable thing to do. There is a reason that defensive players are taught to knock that ball down in that situation. If the ball is spiked properly, there is a fraction of a second between contact and the ball hitting the ground. How can you even rationalize that the best odds for an incompletion is keeping the ball off of the ground?
Better yet, why doesn't Jennings knock ot out of bounds for Christ's sake? They were no more than 3 yards from two different outside boundaries!!
Rationalize it however you like, he gave the Seahawks the only possible chance to catch that ball.
