I really hope the new deal with Kaep doesn't come back to cripple the Niners like Baltimore's deal with Flacco did to the Ravens.......
Too much money for 2 Qb's that aren't elite.

Nfl gms wut r u doin
At least flacco git them a ring with a contract. Romo cutler and kaeperpick don't deserve superbowl mvp money!!
This pretty much screws the Eagles and seahawks next year.

Wilson is going to get mad paid, but he has a ring and a legit shot at a second one. I wouldn't call the Eagles a legit contender. The 9ers are a legit contender, so I guess CK has more right to a huge payoff than Romo or Cutler, at least, and I'd take him on my team over Flacco.

Regardless, the contract cripples the 49ers flexibility going forward with him getting 20+ million a year.

That's why it's nice to be a Browns fan. Nobody is worth any money except for Dimebag Gordon, but he's about to not get paid shit! Lol

It's only about 11mil against the cap because of how it's structured.

My initial post was before more details started emerging. His signing bonus was only $12 mil, which compared to other players who get big money, is a small bonus, the article said most get a $20-$40 mil signing bonus. Also, the bonus is spread over the next 3 seasons, so wont hit this years cap. He actually took a little bit of a pay cut for this year as well, and it sounds like next years salary isn't too bad either, so that the 9ers can try to retain some of their players with upcoming contracts, like Crabtree, Boone, Davis, Iupati, ect.
I know they will lose talent in the long run for this, I just hope they get their ri g this hear or next before our big stars start leaving. There are players on the team that I think are nearing the end of their careers that IMO deserve a ring. Sucks we blew it 2 years ago when they had the chance....

And if it wasn't for Kyle Williams you would of been in the super bowl instead of the giants.

Spurs blowing out the Heat yet again. Anyone else think this should be 3-0 at this point instead of 2-1?

I think the series is exactly how it should be, the Spurs let game 2 go and really had a terrible 4th quarter in that game as well.
Missing the 4 free throws in a row was unacceptable and Leonard had still not realized that he's a pretty damn great basketball player.
How about the Spurs setting a new playoff record for shooting percentage in the 1st half, shit at one point with about 6 minutes left in the second they were shooting 90%...Spurs are for real.
