It was nice to see Tressel resign today. Im not an Ohio St fan at all, but he all but killed his reputation as an honest coach with any integrity. He drug the university through the mud and I believe he did the right thing by resigning and saving some face. We all know his putz president Gee wasnt going to do anything about it.

That absolutely breaks my heart. Tressel has always been a class act and a great coach. The fact that he made the wrong decision months ago and it cost him and the University dearly just makes me so upset.
Since ripping apart OSU has become so fashionable and I now live in "team SEC" country, the next few years are going to be very tough to handle.
Anyone want to take bets on which SEC team's fan gets their last tooth knocked out when they say the wrong thing about my OSU hat? Odds on favorite would be Georgia, but I'm pretty close to Alabama too, so they might be a dark horse!

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't condone his actions but it's still sad that Tressel loses his job over some petty bullshit allegations when dirtbags like John Calipari, who commits infractions at more than one school, are still employed. The NCAA is a fucking joke! They're nothing but a bunch of hypocrites who were trying to save face after getting egg all over it with their "investigation" into Cam Newton and his dad.
They could throw a dart at a map of the US and find a school in whichever state it hits that's committing some kind of infraction. They just chose Ohio State because they wanted to try and make an example of a big program. All the OSU haters can eat shit! Laugh now all you want but you better watch your backs cause the NCAA will be knocking on your door next. The only thing this goes to prove is that the SEC schools are better at cheating.

That's the same thing Colts and Patriots fans were thinking in the 80's & 90's, other than 85 for the Pats, and look where those franchises have gone since. I think the Browns finally have the right people in place to turn things around. Holmgren and Heckart know what they're doing.
