Why would you buy arcade games for a tag other than WarTownReject? You could just transfer that tag to her console and redownload the games for her to get achievements on. But if you already bought games on a different tag, the same goes for that tag.

You can get console banned for running around the rules and not buying games you're getting achievements in. They have ways of detecting it, especially if the gamertag is constantly moving. It's a nice thought though.

People do it, I know people on here who do it. If someone files 1 complaint, it's all over. But a tag jumping around the states would definitely throw up a red flag at M$.

I beat After Burner Climax in 2 hours. I'm never playing that game again. If I bought it on a "generic" tag, could I then let me girlfriend recover that tag to play, then my brother, then Mini, then Meta, ect. If so, maybe adding xbox live arcade games to the waffle thread wouldn't be such a bad idea. I know everyone wouldn't be interested in doing this, but I would be down for buying games on a XBA tag so everyone here can get the game too.
That's not a bad idea.
EDIT: Didn't refresh before posting and seen the response of console bans.

I currently have my tag on a 360 USB, and have gone to a friends to play Paperboy. Can doing it twice for the same game result in this?

My understanding was that you have to transfer the license to the new xbox as well and that can only be done 1 time per year to avoid this type of exploitation.

No need to transfer any licenses as long as you're always connected to live when you're playing the DLC or games downloaded from his tag and you have his tag on your xbox. You'll need to keep his tag on your xbox for as long as you want to play all the games and DLC you got from his account. Once you delete his tag, all the games and DLC will revert to trial games.
I'm pretty sure his tag doesn't just have to be on the 360 but actually signed in. Evol and I do this all the time, because we only buy arcade games with one tag, and switch xboxes. As long as you're playing on the original xbox the stuff was downloaded on, you don't have to have the other tag signed in, but if you're playing on a different xbox, you have to have them signed in on a different controller to access their stuff. License transfer, of course, solves all the problems anyway.
Exactly this.
With two 360s in the house I sometimes forget which box I downloaded the arcade game to originally and then my family sometimes goes to play and gets stuck with a trial.
If you have HIS 360 and tag, then you just need to be logged into live. If its transferred to your 360 his tag has to be logged in while you play.

That's a damn good idea. Create a generic account and share the wealth. I've done this on mine and my wife's xbox. It works. I only pay for one game and we both can roll on and knock out some achievements.
