Overwatch open beta

Well boy howdy if it ain't just rainin' character shooters* 'round here!

Blizzard's long awaited 5v5 character-based team shooter Overwatch is about to hit open beta.

If you are a previous player of WoW, Diablo 3 or Hearthstone you may already have an early access beta code in your Battle.net account's e-mail.

If not, no worries! The beta will open to the public on Thursday, May 5th and run until the 9th.

*Character shooters is the term for this new subgenre of first- and third-person team shooting games with a heavy emphasis on character interactions & factions.
