I was originally really excited for this game since Frontlines had fun MP, but ever since seeing all the reviews and hearing the word on the street I think I'll pass till a pricedrop...

42 already? The graphics don't look so hot, watched a few videos and it looked like Counterstrike ported from the original Xbox

Yea, the videos I've seen look pretty shitty too. I was thinking about getting this but no way, not after all the online problems.

I guess i am playing a different game because i love this game!! I have not done multiplayer, and probably won't because i hate multiplayer achievements, but the campaign is really good. For some reason though i really want to nuke North Korea!

Yeah, right now the matchmaking is pretty awful, but once they fix that it'll be a lot more enjoyable. The Battle Commander gametype is a really cool concept and the controls are pretty slick too, except for the fact you can't re-map buttons. Crouching with B? No thanks.
I guess the 99.99% of all games that use B as the crouch/prone position as a default are wrong... Unless you're a dropshoting noob.
lol This isnt call of duty. I'm used to playing Battlefield and playing COD on Tactical layout. Having the crouch button at the ready at all times, makes the difference between life and death in a gunfight. Sorry if you cant aim down when someone goes prone.
It just feels awkward to me, I wish they had more button layout choices.
EDIT: Also, I beat the Campaign this morning and I found it to be really good. It is very short by todays standards, but if that means there is never a bad moment, so be it. Its non-stop action with some brilliant scripted events that really get the blood pumping, as well as the occasional emotional bits, they got to me, I have to admit.
As for the Multiplayer, it feels great. The controls are really tight and responsive. Like I mentioned before, I didnt like the fact I couldnt remap the button layout to something more to my liking but I'm getting the handle of it lol. The new Battle Commander gametype is really cool, adding the threat level to players that are doing very well adds a breath of fresh air to gametypes we've all grown accustomed to. And all the customization, lots of room for experimenting. I'm very much enoying this game.
If graphics are the reason why you're holding out, you're missing out on a surprisingly solid game.

Multiplayer videos on youtube make this look a lot like MAG for the PS3, which was a nice change of pace and enjoyable for me.
Anyone play this who has also played MAG and can compare?
