Zombie post! So again this morning, I get no respect at work. I usually listen to oldies or classic rock while working the desk. No one seems to mind. During move in this week, the RAs have been requesting music to whomever is stationed at the computer, which was me this morning. One requested Kanye West Pandora station. After a while, I switched back to me "conservative" oldies music. Another RA noted that it was not Kanye. I said the language offended me. They were mad that I didn't like it, in spite of " what I watch". I am unsure of what they were referring to, since I only watch Twilight Zone and Outer Limits at the desk, again very "conservative". Maybe she assumed since I am a male, that I watch porn while working, which is of course an outrageous accusation. All I know is that if I was offended, I am sure resident parents and grandparents frequenting the desk during this time would not take it as lightly.

Unfortunately, I think thats missing the point, considering I didn't want to listen to the music with that kind of language in the first place. It would be very hypocritical, and most likely lose my only source of gaming income. Although full blast oldies could work, maybe its like garlic to vampires...
