Trying to watch netflix & some "Output Protection Error" keeps stopping the movie every 10 minutes & kicking me out to the menu.
Thats the only problem I've had so far.
That's what she said?

Great, now I can't stop laughing at the stupid output protection error jokes swimming though my childish mind!

Anyone read the new ToS? MS said they'll be using your Kinect videos to see how you use your console. They'll also be randomly checking in game voice and party chat.

How would they be able to check party chats? They better not drop in on mine unless they wanna hear a whole lot of F-bombs

I got my update later yesterday evening and it seemed to go along smoothly. I didn't have any issue and no troubles connecting to XBL once it was done or after the agreement. I hope to take more of a look around and see what's been changed. I did notice the blades were switched from up & down to right/left with BING being on the far left to search with.

Xbox Live seemed to be down when I got home from work. Once it was back up no problems. Took a bit to find where to do what, but it looks fine to me. I like it!!!

Interesting, you'll more than likely be able to opt out of those though. I remember seeing on my profile before this new update that under not allowed was voice data collection.
This is interesting indeed. I'm going to actually go back and read it again and also see if you can still opt-out like before.
Also, if any female members are worried, I'd have no problem watching you via your Kinect to tell you which clothing items are or are not appropriate.

Lol. For some reason the thought of Microsoft dropping in on my voice chats make me think that might be their punishment, cause I don't think I've said anything worth listening to on there ever. Invasive, but not interesting... Video, however could be quite a different story. Invasive and kinda creepy- slightly like window peeping.

I had to sign in with my junk silver account then download + apply the update after yesterday's fiasco with my regular account.

Found this setting under xbox.com/account/settings-
Voice Data Collection
Decide whether to allow Microsoft to collect samples of voice commands spoken when in Kinect games and experiences. This helps Microsoft to improve speech recognition.
I had mine set to blocked already, couldn't really find any other setting regarding anything like that though.
