I think I am in love. The poker chips that came with the collectors edition are pretty damn nice. As are the cards.
I've only played for about an hour and a half but I love the feel of the game. I am glad that it feels like Fallout 3.
Also, an added bonus, whenever I went in to pick up my game. The guy gave me a free copy of the strategy guide. Not sure why though. But free is free.

I also think it's stupid that you need a certain amount of skill points to pick lock and hack terminals... If you waste all your bobby pins that should be your fault! I hate having to write down where the safes are that I have to come back to when I get 50 more lockpick skill points. Game froze once already, installing to HD now.
You do know how to hack, right Durtie? Matching letters and stuff?

I'm trying to finish Fallout 3 get 1k then work on DLC. After this game done will buy new Vegas.

I also love the game, but have already experienced a frozen screen forcing me to hard restart....oh it was a very hard restart.
On the serious side, this game has recieved quite a few complaints as far as performance issues go, anywhere from characters clipping into the enviroment, to issues like saves being corrupted.
They say installing makes little to no difference, and I myself have only had the game freeze on me once, I think that extended play is when issues start to arise, which is going to be tested tomorrow when I have the day off work.
Aside from that its just like Fallout 3, a little brighter color scheme, and the characters seem to have a little extra polish on them. Some of the flora design is horrendous though, certain plants in the enviroment look like they were ripped from the N64 version of Mario.

I got it for $29 locally, at Nebraska Furniture Mart. Also, if you are around a NFM, Wal-Mart is matching the price if you have an ad, and they still give the $5 Gift Card with the price match.
