Is there a program you can install here that can block proxies for good? How much would you have to raise in this years fundraiser to get something like that, if it exists?

He had that implemented a couple days ago but it blocked the proxies that the schools use so he took it away

Is there a way to collect the IP's of the posters here and have those ok'd through this type of program, then others would not be able to be used.
Just trying to help find a solution.

I was wondering what was going on with that when I suddenly got a "You cannot view Xbox America through a proxy" on every computer here when I tried to view the site.
Weird thing is, I'm not even using a proxy here. I wonder if it's the satellite company Direcway screwing it up somehow

Unfortunately, nothing like that exists. There are a few headers I can look for and block, but unfortunately those headers appear in some innocuous situations too. Some legitimate members would be blocked out. In addition, "high anonymity" proxies purposefully don't send those headers to appear as a regular user. There's no possible way of detecting those kinds of proxies. There's hundred of thousands I'd need to block, and even then, they often rotate ip addresses every week or so.

That's possible, but it would mean no one new would be able to register.

It's not only that, some proxies just block IP#s and you can surf without anyone knowing. Ask x360a.org, I do it all the time to get info on Achievements cause they IP Banned me there (Long story).
Proxies don't block ip addresses. I think you might have something confused.
When you use a proxy, you make a request to the proxy's server, then the proxy's server shoots it back out to the site you're trying to access. The site responds to the proxy, and the proxy forwards the response to you. Essentially, as far as the site can tell, your ip address is the proxy's ip address.

It's a long story behind his GT.
Some of us who played COD4 religiously were all Gold Cross 55's and when people would get in our game and see 6 Level 10 55's on the other team, they would quit out.
SO we all made secondary Live accounts, revolving around breakfast items, and our clan tag was TBC (The Breakfast Club)
I was YUM WaFfLeS, we had OHH Pancakes, BagOfDoughnuts, YEAH TOAST, MMM Cupcakes, and Milk n Cookies.
None of us Prestiged those accounts for a loooong time. It was fun times, fun times....
Those were good times
