Perennial slacker Jeff Lebowski, better known to everyone as The Dude, wants nothing more than to spend his days listening to some Creedence, enjoying the regular White Russian and bowling a few frames with his buddies, Walter and Donnie. Due to a mistaken case of identity, he finds himself in the middle of some really really serious shit... man. The screenshot is from the scene were we meet John Turturro's character, Jesus Quintana. "Eight year olds Dude... eight year olds."
Estranged and aging father Royal, brilliantly played by Gene Hackman, tries to win back the affections of his three genius children and ex-wife by pretending to be deathly ill. A terrific piece of film making from Wes Anderson. The scene pictured is when Royal inquires about his missing Javelina head, pictured above.
Terry Gilliam directed this film adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's iconic novel of the same name. Johnny Depp took on the role of Raoul Duke (Thompson) joined by Benico Del Toro as Dr. Gonzo (his attorney). Freelance writer Duke is hired to travel to Vegas to cover a desert motorcross event and instead they use the trip as an excuse for nonstop drunken and drug crazed debauchery. The scene pictured is from shortly after they arrive at their hotel. Tripping on LSD, Duke looks down to see the floor turn into some sort of ooze.
"PLEASE! TELL ME ABOUT THE FUCKING GOLF SHOES!"
