Oh well, I guess if they're willing to pay for it... Oh wait! :-S
Mass Effect 3 - There's Still Hope
Or this?
Well, coming soon-ish sometime this summer, Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will be released on the marketplace, the best part? It looks like it's going to be FREE!
The free offer on the download is available until April 12, 2014. Eligible players must have an account with either EA online service Origin, the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live to receive the DLC free of charge.
Dr. Ray Muzyka, BioWare's co-founder and general manager had this to say about the Extended Cut's ending:
"With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe."
So, if you really, and I mean REALLY hated the ending, hopefully you didn't trade-in or get rid of ME3 because you might just have to go pick it up again to get the ending that should have been. For the full story about how and why this DLC came to be, read the full article here.
