If you haven't heard the news...ME 3 is delayed until Q1 2012. This makes my feel goods hurt. Just think...the world is going to end before I find out what happens to Shepard.

Meh... whatever. It was practically already being released in Q1 2012 with the date December 31st.
Who knows why they delayed it.... There is still a shit ton of time from now till the old release date (Dec 31st). They probably have a good reason.

Well this would be the second most anticipated game of the year being pushed back. First Gears now ME 3. What's next!? If Skyrim does then I might have to choke a bitch.

Will give me some more time to play the new Oblivion, so thats fine with me. It'll still be a great game whenever they do decide to release it

Well its not like they are getting pushed back for years ya know ....
I mean sure ME3 is gonna be beastly, and I cant wait for it. A few more months wont kill me though. Like I said, Mass Effect 3 was originally being released at the very end of Q4 2011. Its not gonna hurt me if they change it to Q1 2012 lol.
Also, not to be a technical douchebag. But the "end of the world" is claimed to be on December 21st 2012. So you'd get to beat ME3 a few times before the world "ends".

First the world won't end.
Second bioware didn't have a release date. Only 2011 Q4
Third my opinion F--- those pieces of s---!!! I am going to kill bioware for delaying the greatest games series of all time.

First, no shit. Thats why I said "claimed", and over used quotations marks on everything.
Second, yes they did. They speculated it to be released in December 2011.
Third, Its just a game. You'll live.... chill out Jabroni.

only a few months is a lifetime in today's gaming world where great games come out every month and it makes my ADHD even worse. Gears was pushed back and it made me want to punch the hell out of a baby.
I do know that these things happen and maybe I am extra disappointed because I just finished my ME2 insanity playthrough and was thirsty for more. But Katarn StarKiLR was right......This is a pretty sweet ass series. Guess I'll read the books to buy some time.

That was such a heart breaking article to read. I was really excited to see how the triology would wrap up. Now I have to wait a few months longer I suppose. I guess we get Gears to hold us over till then.

I would rather they delay it for a few months and get it right as opposed to sending out a game that is full of glitches and needs badly to be patched.
How many NEW games come out that freeze within the first hour? Answer - TOO MANY!!!
If this delay avoids that and other issues, I am all for it.

I say good.
I'm so tired of this gaming generation's trend of trying so hard to beat their own arbitrary deadlines that games are released with crippling bugs and glitches and employing the "patch it later" strategy. I say delay it and ship a polished product. The first 2 weeks after a game releases is not a beta test.
So for everyone crying and punching babies, whatever the hell that's supposed to mean, I'd rather read your posts bitching about a delay, than 200 threads later about how glitchy and unplayable the game is.

I second this! There is no worthwhile reason these retarded deadlines have to be met, and there is nothing worse than seeing an excellent and/or fun game concept crippled by rushed development.

unbeknowest to us, but knowest to Asgaard, Odin is about to shove his sword up some asses over this. (i hear he's an avid gamer :3) someone send Amon Amarth to calm him.......
but seriously, totally agree over rushed development. so many games couldve been better if just a few more tweaks here and there. i still remember when Oblivion came out and there were SO MANY FLAWS. i fell off the face of the earth twice. one of my main storyline tasks where i had to talk to someone, he was killed. i still did the little glitch where you hit a potion at the right time and you get a million of it. till they started releasing patches, then it got better. same with Fallout: New Vegas.
