Why play them twice? You already got the achievements, unless you like to play it.
They stack, I played the Korean version of Wall-E and I'm playing the European version of Eragon. You can get an additional 1000 gamerscore for each.

Yes, for Eragon I will have a total of 2000 points. For Bioshock 1 I already have three different versions done, with another one to go (So I have 3100 points, and will have 4200 points when I'm done - 2 have 100 point DLCs).
...and no, it doesn't do it for every game. Just some of them.
