Kids say the darndest things.....

I know alot of you are parents as I am and my 4 year old little girl says at least one thing everyday that cracks me up.

This morning she was running a fever and threw up for the 1st time in her life. I cleaned her up and she was so hot and out of it so I laid down and was holding her. She looked at me and asked, " Daddy do you like to tip-toe." So random but I really was laughing.

I thought it would be cool to hear stories about other peoples kids.

We were going through the McDonald's drive through last week on our way home from the store when my 7 year old said "Mommy, I want to go in the McDonald's cooler so I can turn in Mr. Freeze." I turned and looked at him and he was so serious looking that I just cracked up. The only response I could come up with was "That would be awesome." :laugh:

And when I put my 2 year old in bed for a nap the other day he was saying he wanted to go to the store and I was telling him no, that he had to lay down and take a nap. About 10 minutes later I walk by his room and he's in there saying "I want to go to the store.. No, you have to lay down. But I want to go to the store.. No, you have to take a nap." He was mocking me! My 2 year old mocked me! lol

That is really funny. I often wonder wher do they get it from. Well the answer for my daughter is Dora. Yesterday we went in our back yard and seen a rabbitt. She told me " Hold on !!!" and ran in the house. She came out with a pencil and pad and said " Im going to record this in my field journal."

Also thanks to her uncle she learned the pull my finger game. So she will ask complete strangers to pull her finger and then make a fart noise. Brrrrrrrr. I get onto her but it is still funny.

I don't know where the Mr. Freeze thing came from. We did have a good talk on the way home about how Batman is the best superhero because he doesn't have superpowers and still beats the bad guys up though. My 2 year old probably got it from me. I've been known to mock people and be sarcastic on occasion so I'll take the blame for that one.

I'd love to see the looks on people's faces when a little girl tells them to pull her finger. lol Better than having a 5 year old think anyone that's got a belly is pregnant though! While I was pregnant with the youngest the oldest one decided that everyone else with a big belly must have a baby in there somewhere. Imagine walking through the store with your kid pointing at people who are just over-weight and asking if they're pregnant too. Talk about embarrassment!

A number of years ago, I was working out in the back yard and smashed my thumb...and I said some really bad words. One began with an F (can you see where this is going?) Well, later in the week, we were at a friends house for a cook out and my little guy shouted that same word in front of everyone. Loud. Yup, I was embarrassed and I tried really hard to explain how it is that a 3 year old would know that word.

a couple months ago i asked my 3 year old son what he wanted for dinner.
he walked up to me, grabbed me by the collar and said "listen to me... i'm not hungry."

I liked the part where you go nuts while playing MW2 and tell Corbin, just a minute buddy, I'm almost done...

Then 3 hours later, just a minute buddy, I'm almost done.

I am glad that I am not the only one that has pulled that one.
Then of course there is the time I burnt tomato sauce on the stove because I was on the 360. That was really gross.

I once burnt spaghetti noodles whilst playing. Completely forgot it was cooking until I could smell it burning.

This is NOT a double post, check the dates -

So, earlier this week we had a bout of the stomach flu and one of my kids had it. He says to me later on, "It didn't taste very good." I was in the middle of eating dinner, but I couldn't eat after that.

I wanted to share a story from daughter last night. My wife works nights and on the nights she works my little 4 year old girl likes to sleep in her "spot".
So we went to bed last night and she said, " Hey Dad, you wanna hear my new song ? " (she loves to sing) So this is her song

"Im a turtle and I have a turtle shell. BBRRRRRNNNNNTTTtt ( this is how she does a fart noise)"

Thats it. #1 hit in my book. I laughed so hard I couldnt go to sleep . I have one talented kid. haha

I have my nephew for a couple of days. He and my little girl are both 4 so they still like to take baths together. I asked her if she wanted to take a bath and this is her reply.
" Can we take a bubblebath cause I dont want to see his gross wienie. "
Too funny. Now if I can keep her thinking that.

We were tooling around on vacation and I saw a sign for the Panama City dog track...

Me (to my wife, Patty) - Wanna check out the dog track?
Briana (my daughter) - What's that?
Patty - Where they have dog races...just like horse races.
Briana - OMG, they ride the poor dogs??? That's MEAN!!
