I changed it once. It used to be my full name but somehow it got people riled up and insulted me for what I think is a pretty regular name. So to rid myself of all "harassment" changed it up for something more "gamey". I fucking love my GT now.

first statement is fucking stupid. im w/ detroit on this. if youre bored w/ it or dont like it, why the fuck would you keep it? that just makes no sense. that applies to anything, honestly. clothes, relationships, gamertags, games, etc etc...if you dont like it, dont want it, and/or are completely bored w/ it, why keep it? thatd be stupid
second statement, sometimes after changing it you look back on that first name (or older name) and realize that actually wasnt a bad name/gamertag/whatever. its like w/ cars. you mightve owned, say, a 93 mustang like 10 years ago, and loved the car...but it was having issues, and you didnt like/want it anymore, so you got....idk, a 06 camaro (random cars idrc your preference its an example) but not you might want to go and try to get another 93 mustang because you realize that car was actually a lot better then you thought and want it again
