I was in 6th grade when I saw an artical about Halo CE and looking at the pictures and reading about all the love it was getting made me what to get an Xbox. When Xbox 360 came out I knew I had to get it but it took a year till I could get it. Now I have two just in case.

My cousin had an original xbox, at the time all I had was a gamecube. I went to my cousins house and played his xbox and halo and I was hooked ever since. So I ended up going out and buying one for myself.
I had no real intentions of getting a 360 when they came out. But my best friend managed to snag one on the release day. After the first time I played it I was hooked and immediately sold my original xbox and bought my 360. Now here I am 95000 gamescore later and still going strong.

My first console was N64. Love it till stop make more game for N64. Got original xbox in 2001 with Halo and Halo 2. I was hook to xbox and never stop play it. No, but really I was because of Halo 3 because It was a well made game and i knew the developer supported the game strongly after release

The only reason he bought it for me was b/c i had to stand in line for 3 hours to pick his up at midnight release at walmart. So he gave me money for his and mine plus 3 games a piece.

Well I used to be a hardcore Sony fan as well, and wanted the PS3, but then when my mom found out the $600 price point, it was not going to happen. I then begged her for a Wii instead since it was just coming out, and I wanted the new Zelda game. The next year, I probed her for a 360 just because it seemed like the next step in gaming, so for my birthday I got it, and never looked back!
I did get a PS3 the following year for Christmas, but it basically sits on my shelf and does nothing. I was so pissed when I found out it's only half backwards compatible, and I have about 5 PS1 games and 30ish PS2 games. It's a nice piece of hardware, and I don't hate it, but I prefer my 360.

I got my 360 a week after launch, and have had about 4 others since then. Became an xbox fan when I got the original xbox when it came with sega gt/jsr future in 02 I think. Once I got xbox live in 04 I've been reeled in every since...same gamertag and all..

Probably when I realized a year ago that GameCube was no longer a hot system (it still is, but I've beaten every game on it) ... and asked for one for Christmas xD
