When Bungie lift cap level you will see your rank going up depend on how much cR you earn.

Go to this site It got all rank and how much cR you need for next rank.

to piss everyone off cause they wanna get to commander to get the commando (aka carters) helmet and shoulderpads. and, because they can. makes people want to keep playing to watch as their rank shoots up when its lifted and feel cool

Having stuff in the armory that requires a rank higher than possible in the game is just stupid. H3 had over 1 million on-line players most nights. Reach has one third of that. Black Ops is going to kill this game.

when you think about it tho, its kinda smart. it gives bungie a chance to keep people in suspense over whats new to come, and of course, being bungie, theres only more/better things to come (GUNGNIR/Security helmet = <3333) so theyre waiting a while before raising it. besides that, according to statistics, only 10% of the halo community is even above a captain. majority of them (like around 30%) is in the warrant officer and its grades. 90% of the community is still below captain (which i find kinda hard to believe but it makes a lil sense since the ranking can take a while sometimes) so idk. i think its kinda a good idea. gives em a chance to maybe try and make more commendations to keep people happy, or other ways of ranking up. maybe even making new armors (tho they have lots of armors already)

tbh, i kinda wish they had a sell option w/ the armory...like you could sell what you bought for either like full CR or half CR...thatd be kinda nice...cause now i wish i hadnt bought some of the stupid things i did...

Me, too. There was a glitch to get 'make it rain' buying the blue visor color for 50k. If you do it right, you won't buy it and you get the ach. I didn't do it right and I am now the owner of a blue visor that I would like to sell back.

Update on bungie.net

Basically they are changing up some stuff on the playlists, adding a couple new maps and gave us a way to lift the level cap. 117 million daily challenges must be completed (not counting those done by the cheaters).

Supposedly we're looking at early next month for the level cap to be raised. I still haven't missed a daily challenge so I'm doing my part

I'm also looking at probably skipping commander completely and going straight to colonel. I'm already past the cR needed for Commander grade 2 and there's still a couple weeks to go!

Edit: Oh yeah and the DLC hits november 30th

I just hope they make a DLC achievement to reach General rank or something. That way those who got the 1k non-legit get screwed :laugh:
