half empty or full?
07/01/10 6:13 pm | #1
so ive looked for a similar forum but couldnt find one..
so what is everyones views on this topic?
i believe you can be a optimist and still see the cup half empty..
because you see that there needs to be some improvments in your life that need to be made. (half empty)
to me seeing the cup half full is being cocky and errogant.
because you think that you have the world under your fingertips. thinking you have everythnig under control.
when everything is obviously not ok..
am i rambling? im rambling. ok
comments?

I think it's half full.. Not because of optimism or anything.. Life has been shitty. But you have to look on the bright side or you'll just end up being an asshole to everyone you're with. How that is arrogant, I may never know.

You are both making it too difficult. There's only one answer:
The glass is just twice as big as it needs to be. Period.
Don't make life more complicated than already is.

Actually its completely full. Half of it is full of air - not liquid.
And if you are saying it is halfway full or empty of liquid - its both. Its halfway full and empty at the same time (assuming we live in fantasy world where measurements would be perfect).

Seriously, this is the perfect explination.

The water is a lie put there by the government to distract you from the truth, which is that the glass was left on this planet by the same aliens that built the pyramids!

This is why I drink out of a flask in a darkened room.
You can't see to know if it's empty until it's gone.

And there you sit, in a darkened room, broken hearted because your flask is empty. Buy the large flask and you will fall asleep before your are done.
