hmm.. good point..

i think its all just a state of mind..
its weird.
the way i have it in my mind..
the way i see all of that is.. maybe the government is here for a reason..
and i agree about everything your saying.. but
maybe their here for a reason.

maybe their here for us to see that its completely pointless for them to be here.
hmm..
is that a double negative?

anyways i think you just have to sit down with me and take a few hits of acid and come into my world..
to see it through my eyes anyways..

like i said its weird the way i have it in my head

hmm...ya know, i thought about that for a reason..this is what i came up w/

is the government here for a reason? well yes, yes they are.

why are they here? because we have to have something to maintain order in society. w/out a government, wed be in total anarchy/chaos, people would do whatever they want w/out consequence, and i think we all know that would not be a very good idea in any way/shape/form. people have to have consequences for their actions, good or bad.

is it completely pointless for them to be there? no, not at all. the question above answers why they need to be there. maintain order, make laws to keep order, etc

now, is it right for the government to lie? no, not at all. lying is never really a good idea, especially not when youre in such a high position of power, and all these people look up to you. now sure, if you get on the news and say 'oh hey, everythings fine guys!' and everything is NOT ok, the people will believe you because you said that its all ok! then, once the people find out, theyll start to oppose you more and more and eventually youd be overthrown and itd go into total anarchy/chaos and prolly start another civil war. anarchy/chaos alone is bad enough, add a civil war its like hell on earth.

i think i do kinda get what you mean, but i do believe the gov't is here for a reason. w/out it, we would crumble.

Well it depends...
Did somebody fill his/her glass half full, still leaving half remaining?
Or have they already filled their glass to the top, and have now lost half of its worth?

I force myself to see things as half full. Sometimes I find that life just sucks. I complain about money and my job. But then I realize that it can always get worse. I don't have a lot of money but always have enough to pay the bills. At times my job sucks but I could be unemployed. I have a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes to wear, the love of a good woman, and XBOX America. Life is pretty good
