Thats exactly what I did. Got the code seconds after signing up. But it doesn't seem like you guys are the only ones having problems. I've noticed other forums saying they had the same problem. Maybe they are getting wise to this trick.
On a side note, I played 5 matches before calling it quits for now and I love it. The digger is a fun gun to use let alone watch someone die from it. Also, watching my buddy climb on top of an enemy and beat the living hell out of him was awesome.
