lol, it seems a whole lot of Gamestops have been doing their customers dirty in their areas. I for one cannot vouch for them, for the honesty (or their stupidity) but can say, not all the Gamestops are bad.
I do agree though, even some of the locations here in New Mexico, are just flat out HORRIBLE! Even going over the surveys from customers, it seems that stores in NM are starting to go negative pretty quickily, well the stores in the ghetto areas, (ie. central and coors or even los lunas)
All I can say is Gamestop, is given the Preorder SKUs for goodies and even actual items for games about 3-5 days in advance, and should have your preorder incentives, readily available for you. Now if your in a SUPER popular store, some may just run out of quantity, but that isn't always the case, and for that I apologize for that.
Some trade in values have just plummeted, mainly due to the massive amounts of prior trade ins of the same title, or corporate just cant sell them as they aren't worth anything to anyone. 360 games, usually suffer the most as more of those games are traded in than say the PS3. The Wii is a different story, Mario is the only thing that holds ANY value.
If your gonna trade in a system...DON'T! We don't give squat for systems, no matter the size of hard drives or what not. 360s usually score around 50 bucks up to around 80 with a decent hard drive. PS3s around 100 to 150. Wiis get 45 bucks. And these are all store credit values.
If you were coming to my store in NM, I would take care of you no matter what, but obviously, i cant help all my fellow XBAers. and so I say good luck to you at your local Gamestop!
