Legend of Dragoon was a damn good game. At times the game was hard as hell, but still fun and I enjoyed it a great deal. Wish they'd come out with a sequel to it.

i played a little of legend of dragoon. my cousin played it the most. i still remember playing chrono trigger..... and Legend of legaia. my god how i loved that game. i never was able to finish it though. there is a part before you leave your village where you grab an item called the "point card" and i forgot to get it. then i got to a swordsman....man its been so long i cant recall his name. but he was powerful as fuck. i remember i beat like, twice before then. but he returned more powerful. i got to go replay that game. im torrenting the soundtrack right now.

I'm currently playing through 13 and its taking a while for it to pick up but I love the battle system, I feel more involved. However, I have no fucking clue as to what is going on storywise, but its nice to look at.

Final Fantasy is basically what made the JRPG's. It brought forth the turn bases system which lets the player stop and choose their next move: attack, defend, use an item, etc and give more strategy to game. There is also the feature of upgrading your weapons and accessories as you progress through the story. In this day and age theres alot of ways to play RPG's but they revolve around a turn based system and items and accessories have evolved in terms of customization with things such as synthesizing opposed to just buying the stronger item.
However the best thing about the FF series is they're stories. In the later days it might be hard for most players to really get into it since it was a bunch of 8-bit figures however now we have beautiful cinematic and composers who do BGM specially for each series which helps give the scenes more life.
The stories vary from each series most of which give us a love story between the main protagonist and the main heroine of the game, how that love story works out ... well its up to you to play the game out to find out.
Like i said though its all about preference, you don't have to like strategy games like these not many people want to go through the all the slow battles or spend 50+ hours playing the story. However you don't see me dissing games like Red Dead, GTA or COD, i simply just don't prefer them, maybe you can give me a legit reason for liking it that i can never understand.
Simply put, you shits need to show more respect to the FF series, just because you can't stand the Japanese appearance and cant go guns a blazing like a mindless shit doesn't make it a bad game. I don't care who thumbs me down on this, i gave you my reasons now give me yours.
