I'm not sure if anyone else has come in contact with prime-download...But read this first before doing so, I just got f***ed!
I was looking for a software program which is no longer being sold or supported. I found the program listed as available at prime-downloads.com.
I was informed that I would have to join their service to access the file. I did not consider this to be unusual, and opted for their 3 day membership at a cost of $1.95. At no time did I see any mention of any other charges.
When I approved the purchase for what I thought was $1.95, I received a notice that I had been charged the following:
1. Lifetime Full & Unlimited Access (19.95 USD)
2. Files request service & Additional search. You will get Free
Updates & New releases all files which we will add in our system. This
option costs 0.11 USD a day and the user is subscribed to this option
for one year (39.95 USD).
3. Get the Codec Pro Pack and View movies and videos in HD-Quality
(39.95 USD).,
for a total of $81.84
none of which I had ordered. I then found an additional charge of $2.46 for processing the transaction
The web site states that a refund is possible if I e-maiedl their support department within 3 days. I emailed them and got a reply today, I received a reply telling me that I should have read the Terms and Conditions, but in no way shape or form did it mention all of this shit! and they did not mention a refund.
I'm so pissed off i could break every fucken thing in this fucken house! I'm laid off so right now I have unemployment coming in, I need all the money I can get and assholes like this get away with ripping people off!
