What are you top and bottom five movies (or movie series)? Disregard if this topic already exists.

My Top:
1. The Star Wars Saga
2. Lord of The Rings
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. Raiders of the Lost Ark
5. The Godfather

My bottom:
1. The Constant Gardener
2. Natural Born Killers
3. Being There (old Peter Sellers movie)
4. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
5. Never Say Never Again (Basically Thunderball with a different cast)

1. The Godfather I & II, III sucked
2. The Departed
3. Dr Strangelove
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Caddyshack/The Big Lebowski (had to do a 2 way tie)

Bottom 5

1. Titanic
2. Star Wars Episode I
3. Pretty in Pink
4. Any of those "I'm rich and you're poor so lets dance together" movies
5. Caddyshack 2

I have to disagree highly about that one. Sellers earned an Oscar nomination for that role and his triple roles in Dr Stranglove. I thought Being There did a great job of illustrating how dependent our society was on the media back then and how gullible people can be when it comes to believing whatever the media says.

Man it's hard pickin' 5 tops. I had to leave off the Star Wars hectilogy and Watchmen

5 was hard to narrow down. I left out a lot of animated movies plus greats like the big lebowski

2. The entire Saw series
3. Across the Universe
4. Orphan
5. Underworld Series

Bottom 5
1. Transformers 1 and 2
2. Obsessed (although the ending fight scene was pretty epic)
3. How to be
4. Alvin and the Chipmunks 1 and 2
5. Bruno

5- Twilight series

Bottom, worst is #1

1- Napolean Dynamite

5- Duel. It has dennis weaver in it

The Chipmunks 2 isn't even out yet. If you watch it, it might even become your favorite movie.

All in no particular order.

Top 5:
1. Lord of the Rings trilogy
2. 300
3. The Dark Knight
4. Star Wars series (minus the "acting" in the prequel trilogy)
5. Bourne trilogy

Bottom 5:
1. Hulk (Ang Lee version)
2. Charlie's Angels
3. Die Another Day
4. Batman Forever/Batman & Robin (tie)
5. Never Say Never Again

I agree that narrowing the top few down to five is difficult. I would gone for top ten, since I had to leave out some that are almost as good as the ones I picked.

Wow this one was tough for me....but since we can group movies together.........

1. Pretty much any movie with Cary Grant in it (aka Archie Leech)
2. 12 Angry Men
3. Robin Hood: Men in Tights (possibly one of my favorites as a teen)
4. 10 Things I Hate About You (yes really)
5. The Die Hard series (again yes really)

Bottom 5
1. Dude Where's my Car? - Worst movie ever
2. Freddy got Fingered (Thanks for reminding me about this one! I tried to wipe it from my memory).
3. Pretty much any of the recent parody movies ( _____ Movie - insert whichever name in front)
4. Moulin Rouge - Liked the singing - hated the movie
5. Napoleon Dynamite - I just didn't get this movie at all
