This really, loved Point Lookout, for the Shutter Island feeling of it. Didn't really like Mothership Zeta that much though, felt like the storyline was abit stupid, but overall, I liked all the DLC's.

Order to play in: (IMO of course)
Op.Anchorage > The Pitt (My 2nd favorite DLC) > Point Lookout >Mothership Zeta > Broken Steel.

Well, if you have a save file that has completed the main story and want to continue with that character, do Broken Steel first, it completes the main storyline and allows you to play after even when its done. That being said, do Operation Anchorage, Mothership Zeta or The Pitt before trying to do Point Lookout, and for various reasons.

1. Its the best and biggest DLC, meaning you should end your fallout 3 experience with a bang.

2. With the lifted level cap of the DLC, you'll be able to grow stronger by doing the other DLCs first. Point Lookout can be tough, especially if you play with a higher difficulty.

3. Upon further thinking, these are the only two reasons you need to keep Point Lookout last lol.

Now go out there and fuck shit up!

Do Anchorage first; you get the Gauss rifle which is one of the best rifles in the game.

Yeah, I did Anchorage first. It was fun but pretty short. I just finished Mothership Zeta tonight and thought that one kinda sucked. Those aliens were so fucking annoying. I kept killing all the worker aliens I came across as well so I was pretty evil by the time I finished it. :laugh:

Think I'll do The Pitt next. I wonder if I'll find a super mutant Ben Rapistburger. :rofl:

Does Broken Steel include any quests or was it just the level cap?

Hahaha fuckin Steelers, I didn't care for the Pitt that much, it kept laggin up and freezin when it first released, Broken Steel has its own decently long questline and it's pretty fun. My 2 favorites were Broken Steel and Point Lookout.

Do you have to finish the main quest line or do anything else in particular for the first quest of Broken Steel to show up? I loaded all of em off the GOTY disc, the main menu says they're all loaded but the only quests I see are "The Local Flavor" (pretty sure that's for Point Lookout), Into the Pitt and The American Dream (2nd to last main quest).

Yea from what I remember you have to redo the very last mission then after the ending or whatever where you "take a nap" you wake up and Broken Steel starts up...its been awhile since I played it, but I think that's how it activates.

So far, of the first three that I've played, I've enjoyed The Pitt the most. It had more of a story than either Op Anchorage and Mothership. I liked how you had the choice to kidnap the baby or not. I finished it without kidnapping her and now I'm gonna load up my save and see how different the ending is.

I really enjoyed Broken Steel. It was the most challenging of the DLC I've played yet. Especially going through the Presidential Metro tunnels to get the Andrews Air Force Base. I saved Point Lookout for last as that appeared to be the collective sentiment you all expressed.

If you really enjoy stealth (I do!!) the Pitt is a lot of fun. With the stealth suit + gauss rifle from Operation Anchorage and all of the mines you can get your hands on, sneaking around can be LOTS of fun!!
