Saw on the dashboard that there was a new MTG game out. I am just waiting on the email from gamestop with my points card code so i can pick this up. Any one else interested or already pick this up.

I might be getting this. I recently got into Magic but I haven't gotten a chance to play either of the games. I'm waiting to see if people say this version is better than the other before I spend the points on it. I've seen videos of it though, and it looks really cool.

I got it and I already like it more than the older game. The AI seems smarter too, but I still hate the fact that you can't really edit decks. That's what this game needs. If you guys wanna boost a game of archenemy together let me know.

as soon as i get my points ill be on this game. im down to boost the online 'cheevos. send me a request whenever. ive heard that it has a LOT more deck customization than the previous game. you can basicly take out whatever cards you want and it adjusts the mana automaticly.

The AI is smarter as your enemy. But using the AI as a "partner" in archenemy blows in my opinion.
I am definitely no magic expert but the computer at points acts like it is an effing retard. I had one archenemy game where I got killed by my buddy and the computer were still alive....the computer went 4 turns without playing a single card. He had a land and three solid creature spells to play and did nothing. NOTHING!
We ended up winning but only because my human partner got enough guys on that fourth turn to finally end it. I spent those four turns yelling at the screen begging to be allowed to play for my retarded AI.

I have never played MtG, is it easy to learn or should I stay away from this game?
Super easy to learn and still fun to play. I've quit playing Magic like 8 or 9 times now and Wizards keeps drawing me back in. The game is a lot better than the first, and the decks are a lot more awesome too.

Brandon, it's much easier to learn than Yu-Gi Oh. That's for damned sure.

Yeah I bought this today, am having a lot of fun with it. I completely blow at the game, but I guess that's what happens when you've only played it for a day. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it though, I'm on the 5th Planeswalker in the main campaign.
To Patriot, like everyone said, it is pretty easy to learn, it just takes some getting used to. There are a lot of little steps that are sometimes easy to miss, and it definitely takes a lot more strategy than most trading card games.

Loving this game. Brings back memories from the few pro tour events I did.

Oh yeah, I would rather gouge out my eyes than continue playing that Yu-gi-oh game.
This one is better than the first Magic game as well. Definitely could use a few small improvements but pretty solid game overall. Still wish I could make my own deck

hey meta, what kind of improvements do you think the game could use? i havent got the chance to play yet... been too busy to start yet, but from what i have seen and heard its head and shoulders above the last one, which despite its faults i enjoyed very much
