I'm talking about actors in general. I don't see what made Heath Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight so special, I don't see how Jack Nicholson is so godly, or any of it to be honest.

Oh. Most "popular" actors aren't very good in my opinion. Jack Nicholson is pretty good, there are better people though.

jack nicholson is a great actor in my opinion.
he's not my favorite though. not by a long shot.
i prefer people like steve buchemi, gary oldman, yada yada.
but come on! did nobody see the original batman?
nicholson played an awesome joker. freakin' awesome.
heath did an excellent job as well.
like i said, i don't religiously watch the oscars, hahaha. i've seen maybe 2 or 3 of them in the past 10 years. i just think the awards used to go to actors who deserved it. 90% of the people that won the other night were complete strangers to me.

He does a fairly good insane person, even though I hated One Flew Over.. I'd have to say Michael Palin is one of my favorite actors right now.
