i'm suffering through this crap, and really.. who ARE these people? best animation caster? best animation editor? best animation score? (okay, i'm making some of this up, but still..... )

maybe i should throw this into the "what grinds my gears" thread, but i just find the whole thing stupid. i'm glad ledger won something though, at least, be it best "supporting" actor, even though he stomped bale's balls, but other than that, i could care less. right now, we got deniro bashing sean penn, which is funny, but it's taken like an hour and a half to get some kind of enjoyment out of this whole thing.

might i add they showed 5 minutes of nothing but woman crying over being so happy for winning oscars in the past, hahahah. am i alone here? does this shit even matter?

i used to enjoy it.
back when there were great movies, i suppose, and great actors and actresses won because they deserved it. i've never been a die hard oscar fan, mind you. i've always just seen them here and there, but it used to be cool. i remember seeing nicholson up there. he deserved it. i can't remember what he won for, lol, but he won. now it's just newbies who got lucky, it seems.

and shock, the deadzone is based off a king novel.
you really need to read it if you haven't.
