I really hope they don't have achievements for this. I was excited when they released some of the dlc for Titanfall and it didn't have achievements so I could actually be done with that game but then they put out an update for it and added achievements. Thinking this will happen with Destiny as well though.

I really cannot bring myself to put this game back in my disc tray. I wanted to today but i every time im thinking of getting back into Destiny i see a article about how something else is messed up this time around, or how there were no achievements in The Dark Below (despite it being a season pass item), or how the loot system is constantly being pseudovamped. I bought the collectors edition, and now im thinking about trading it in.
The only thing i suppose going for it right now is the fun combat, but everything surrounding that is a heap of garbage that desperately needs to be fixed.

There will be one or two a week that require DLC to start but slowly move towards more DLC requirement, from what I've read.
I traded the game in a few weeks ago, I just couldn't handle the disappointment. I bought it because I read the Game Informer article about it from last January and was SO stoked by the story and by the gameplay it boasted. Gameplay honestly is really fun, but there was no story and it all just got repetitive once I beat everything a couple times. I had nobody to play with, my preferred class and gun type were shitty in the Crucible, and after a certain point I just couldn't level up any more and I was only at 23. I found the achievements pretty boring after I got the first half of them done, so had little incentive to continue grinding for anything at that point. Easily the biggest video game disappointment I've ever had. Second place being Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Damn that game for not being in the true essence of the (perfect) original!

Hit crota's end a few days ago,CRAZYNESS, the entire raid is lvl 31-32 enemy's that can drop a lvl 30 really fast, the mechanics are insane,you NEED to have a vet lead the team in order to make it through,the boss fight is tough but after getting the timing down its not so bad. Managed to get the hunter gauntlets and so new materials. Saw some lvl 26 bonehead snag a gallajorn in the VOG a few hours ago,figures really,I play almost everyday and get garbage and this guy pulls a top three exotic FML

Anyone who still has the game excited for The Taken King on the 15th? I almost let Destiny go after the consistent disappointment I got from it but House of Wolves redeemed the hell out of it with the Prison of Elders horde mode. The Taken King looks that much more impressive, especially with the giant Dreadnought dungeon ship.
