I was searching for info on this game and to see people's reactions to it. I was shocked I didnt find a Crysis 2 thread already.

Anyways I want to pick this game up. I liked the demo except I had a LOT of trouble getting into a match. So please post your thoughts of this game. I was hoping this game would be epic.

Meh, there's a lot of stupid shit in this game online so far that is really annoying and just seems like they didn't test it enough EVEN though there were 2 public demos for online. The servers are pretty terrible so far, haven't tested the single player.

Every game experiences some MP trouble early on. I don't know why that still surprises people. I have this at the top of my Gamefly Q.

No it doesn't have an online code which is really surprising, I know most games have online problems right off the bat, but when you have 2 demos for MP to iron shit out and still have the same freezing issues as the demo/bad party connectivity, that's a tad annoying.

Just started the campaign, haven't tried multi yet.

I got the last of the first copies my Blockbuster had so I got to use the Limited Edition code

I have to say, so far, the visuals really are wow. They weren't kidding about that Crytek 3 engine.

Graphics are awesome. Multiplayer is another BS call of duty type mess, where nothing actually kills your opponent that they use against you...not to mention Stealth pisses me off the most, and should be removed online. Kill cams are also, highly inaccurate. Melee + grenades = most worthless skills/weapon in the game

Been having a hard time staying connected to friends online, and the servers going down, effing up the party, and locking up my system.

Started out single player, and it is gonna be quite tough to finish on Super Soldier. However, I like how it is coming along though!

So Far initial impression, After some bugs ironed out, and things balanced in multiplayer, things will be quite nice, and this game will be a contender for game of the year.

The game is gorgeous and so far I'm enjoying the single player minus the numerous bugs and AI issues, not too bad on the hardest difficulty either. The MP however is kinda garbage, definately won't be aiming for level 50 unless they fix all the issues and the TERRIBLE hit detection, feel like I'm playing another crappy CoD online except with a super suit.

Well, just completed the campaign on Super Soldier in under 7 hours...yes 7 hours, for some reason all these reviews say it'll take 10-15 though...yea right...and I got NO ACHIEVE for finishing on SS, only the achieve for Veteran...WTF. Tryed all the usual stuff to try and fix it and even replayed through a whole level over again and still no achieve, my stats page shows all 19/19 on SS too...great, hope this is patched asap.

there's no reason to remove stealth, it's not OP at all..

super soldier is pretty easy so far.

Yea, supersoldier is very easy, just better hope the achieve doesn't glitch on ya like it did for me and plenty of others...I went back through to grab the souveniers and miscellaneous achieves I missed and played on recruit and as far as dying quick it didn't seem any different from supersoldier, just seems like the AI doesn't notice or shoot at ya as often. Single player alone I'd give the game an 8, it was short and started to get boring towards the end and had a ton of glitches, but it was still fun and gorgeous. MP I'd give a 6 right now in the state the servers are in and because of the horrible hit detection.

Im playing Crysis 2 on the PS3. And I haven't experienced any server issues. The hit detection is bullshit sometimes... other than that... the MP is pretty solid.

Stealth is not a problem, and neither is the armor ability. I dont get why people dont understand the energy bar. You gotta use your ability correctly in certain situations. Armor is not to be walked around with... which is what you are probably doing BigZuDaddy. You are supposed to flick it on right as you engage into a shootout. If you have it on before that, even for just a little bit, and you walk around.... your energy is gonna drain hella fast, and its not gonna help your damage resistance.
