The problem isn’t people downloading music from the internet but the people who are putting them on DVD’s CD’s and making 5-10 bucks on each one of them tax free. You wanna know why it’s so expensive for movies cd’s ,mp3’s? Blame the bootleggers!

Incorrect.
The "problem" is that corporations operate on the black figures/bottom line mentality, and internet downloads are equivalent to the 900 lb. gorilla in the room.
People making a few hundred off bootlegs spend that same cash locally in their area to buy various sundries and victuals, thus reinvigorating the economy on a microcosm level.
On the macrocosm level, the corporations have as many monitors as you can imagine and they know almost exactly how much "product" is being moved without them getting a payment, so they are going to get back their lost profits any way they can.
As far as "rights" to music and you can only listen to what you spent your money on? Well, let me put it this way--you "paid" for your "music" with "government paper tickets" so what transaction actually took place? What "rights" do you have? Are you indeed proud to be a criminal under this law? Should the law be removed so that corporations indeed have to start cracking down harder on bootleggers and releasers via intrusive measures like the pre-movie ads, unavoidable DRM in games, etc.?
PS: awesome thread necro
