Contest: win a code for GOWJ Jungle Tai character

Interested in winning a code for the Jungle Tai character in Gears of War: Judgment?

The Wal-mart nearest me finally got the right kind of Oberto beef jerky packages in that have the promo stickers on the outside so I swiped some for my roommates and got an extra one for my XBA lover monkeys.

Simply respond to this thread telling me who your favourite Gears character is and why. It can be anyone from the games, novels and/or comic books. If you name Marcus Fenix, you better have a damn good reason why.

Note that, if you win, you will need to have a Facebook account to access Oberto's GOW Giveaway page to retrieve your code.

Also, if there is enough interest in this, I may be able to go back and get a few more codes.

Contest will be closed, and winner determined randomly from 3-5 of my favourite responses, on April 12th. To be eligible, you must have joined Xbox America more than 2 weeks ago and have more than 2 posts.

Great idea Meta! I will choose not to participate as I already have 2 extra codes for Tai.

If you find the large bags though, that have the Neon armor, I will be all up in this shit. They don't carry the big bagws here, in any of the 5 Wal-Marts within 40 miles of me. FML. :(

I would have to stay Dizzy. Originally, I got saddles with him because everyone else I know already had dibs on the other characters. But, I grew to love him. He took the redneck stereotype & made me tolerate it as long as I was controlling him. From a story standpoint, I enjoyed the fact that he wasn't just there for flavor, he actually contributed, especially in Gears 3.

DOM!!!! while playing the series within the year i was all agressive with the game just like marcus but as the story progressed, i noticed dom being the support system for the big bad fenix. when in Gow2, the locust got marcus wife maria and and he was desperately looking for her and went to hell itself to retrieve her i started feeling emotional as he was, especially with the scene where he found her and it was just heartbreaking what i saw. from there on dom wasnt himself as much but was still the best support system for marcus. he had his back in countless situations but the problem was no one had his back. in Gow3, unbeknown to us, Dom couldnt take it any longer and decided to sacrifice himself to save his teammates and to be with his wife once more. dom was a tough guy but no one could help dom cope with his loss and he was strong guy for lasting way this long. I got emotional and i cried when dom died. so Dom is my favorite because despite the odds and the huge amount of weight in his shoulder bearing the loss of his family, he pushed through and saved everyone countless times!

It turned out that I had multiple codes, plus Revelation1318 donated, so the first few "winners" were Circus, SenorBigFun and isaidgofly.

I am going to attempt to get some more codes for y'all, so keep an eye on your inbox/shoutbox here, guys: Ivan TR, Ermac and Fantasytails.

Anyway, thanks for being a part of XBA and happy gnashing out there! Hopefully Epic will release some maps for this game eventually :p
