Community Playdate

Keep this one clean.

Now the question is how does someone get the ball rolling on this one? Or does anyone have a problem with me emailing everyone or anyone at xbox representing xbox america? I have no problem doing that, I just didn't want a bunch of emails from various members sent to xbox and them not taking us seriously. And if not me, then we can pick someone in the community to do it. With your guys consent, I will hit the forums and find some emails to xbox and get it going.

Then we just have to settle on a game. And remember this is only something to do for fun. It doesn't matter which game is chosen. This is something for us all to get together and raise some hell over xbox live and get some new blood in here. Perhaps with these new members they could chip in on some cash and donate to the site.

Good idea, I'm down to play any shooter or pretty much any game really. Not sure who you contact for this though haha.

Ok well we should probably pick a more well known game that can hold a lot of people in the games? I would elect either BFBC2, CoD, or Gaylo Reach Around as being the obvious choices.

Ok well my choice is BFBC2 anyways haha or I'd even take Gears 2, both are more fun that CoD and Gaylo IMO.

Sounds like a reasonable and fair way to vote, my two ideas are BFBC2 and Gears 2 then haha

Reasoning for BFBC2, great multiplayer game, can get up to 24 people in the games I believe? Pretty fast paced and tons of maps/gametypes and variations.

Gears 2 is just plain 5v5 fragging chaos and adds some flavor with a Third person shooter instead of a FPS, plus both games are popular so noone should have a problem getting a copy to play.

It sounds easy enough. I'm committed to making it happen. Especially the stalking of Trixie portion of it. I've got a fold out chair, a nice warm jacket and my night vision goggles that came with my COD.

I would use this thread for everyone to broadcast their opinons on which games they would like to play for the playdate. At the end of the month, we have the voting begin. With that, we will have plenty of time to get everything organized and ready to roll.

And remember this is just for fun. We are not voting for the game of the year, we are voting for a game that is fun to play and that everyone can play. Not every person can be pleased. Your thoughts are taken seriously and your vote will be heard. Also remember there is still a wonderful future out there and your game may have not been voted for this time around, but maybe on the next playdate.
