the guy with the green hair is Hazama, the person who was with Noel for the majority of her story during the first game.

at the end of Calamity Trigger, he is revealed to be the game's true villain and the one pulling all the strings. he escapes and orders Tsubaki (girl with red hair) who is Noel's close friend, to assassinate Noel and Jin. that's where the Continuum Shift picks up

and as for the Floridians thing, i suppose we all know each other in some way or another lol

what is it that happens, story-wise, to transform Noel into Mu-12? and does this mean her form is inferior to Nu-13?

There should be a "true form" of booby lady called Tau-21.

I seriously have to salute BlueBalz for its characters, gorgeous art and interesting gameplay. The characters really do all play differently, Ragna was the only one I could approach with a "typical" 2d fighting style. I never played any of the Guilty Gear games so I don't know how it relates to those but this is definitely what a lot of people wanted/needed, those who didn't like rigidly traditional 2d fighters OR combo-centric hardcore 3d fighters.

On most days I'd still rather play Street Fighter but you can't deny how effing terrific BlueBalz looks and plays, and honestly I will probably buy Continuum Shift at retail and play it enough to get good with a character or two, because I really enjoyed trying to play the first one with friends.

Id like to think i have a very good understanding if the story so once im actually allowed to make a thread ill start making a story guide but to answer the question about Mu no one truly knows at this point but it is clear at this point Nu-13 and Mu/Noel are clones of saya so it would make sense that Noel would have similar abilities to Nu and that Saya possibly had these same abilities though again at this point no one know why/how Nu-13 and Noel were created or where Saya is though she is presumed dead

I can't wait, the fighting system in this game is so fluid. This is a decent summer so far, Alpha Protocol, crackdown 2, and now this.

Dont get me wrong gameplay enhancements are gonna be awesome but there was like NO INFO given in the first one and the little that was was so cryptic i had to go through three different sites AND had to add a bit of my own flare.
