That's so crazy, could you just imagine being called out by the swat team?

That's crazy. One time while circus and I were playing 007 and pissing off the brits, some random kid sent me a message he was gonna hack me....yet nothing happened.
Kind of crazy it happened to this dude. If swat woulda came to my house they prolly would have arrested me anyways, lol.

Yeah its called swatting. Been happening for quite sometime now. I couldn't imagine doing that to someone, they could be seriously injured or killed.

Im gettin pretty sick of people like that. I've been hearing the hack word for almost 2 years now. Never actually happend, but sometimes I think, for this exact reason alone, that we should have to undergo some sort of Background Check or have some sort of more serious counter measure in place to combat people like this.

if a "swat" team came to my house i wouldnt let them in,if the dont have a warrant to enter my home i will stand at the door and wave them goodbye.they have no just cause to enter my house.i would prefer it if they bust down my door without a warrant because my lawyer would have a great time suing my city and the toronto police force.

This happens to those popular youtube call of duty players a lot. They call it "SWATing".
They get your info and use those text alerts to contact your police station, or they just call pretending to be family.
I was actually watching a live podcast with a popular CoD youtuber named WoodysGamertag when hackers attempted to SWAT him during his livesteam. I guess they hoped to capture video of the SWAT kicking in office door and tackling him. He ended the livestream when his wife came into room saying there are poeple outside the house with flashlights. He made a video about the next day. It was crazy...
@Heaven in Vain, waving at a SWAT team thats outside your house is the dumbest thing you could do. If they get called to your house, even though its a prank, they think its real. You waving at them would make them think you're bat shit crazy and that the call is indeed real. And if the prankster said that you killed everyone in there and have a hostage.... they dont need a search warrant. Its not a drug raid.

Swat don't need a warrent.....a situation like this is considerd a matter of national security so them bustin your door down is what there required to do regardless if they have evidence or jus a random tip off so you wouldn't be able to sue them or the state.......its bullshit but welcome to america "the land of the free"
in america yes here in canada however thats not true lol

A SWAT team in any country doesn't need a warrant for an immediate emergency/threat.
That would be stupid to waste time getting a warrant for somebody who has a hostage or is going on a killing spree in their home. Like I had said before.... its not a drug raid, its emergency respone. You dont need a warrant. Anywhere.

every country has their own laws,Toronto's ETF even for hostage situations like when a gunman goes into a highschool and keeps a class hostage (been through 3 of them personally) needs a warrant from a judge giving them the right to go into a private school, maybe in public schools its different i am not sure.we had cops on our campus talking to the man who took the class hostage to keep him calm but thats it.
