Alan Wake to be "like a TV series"

For all you gamers out there that are patiently awaiting the release of Alan Wake (Like Me

) it was announced at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) that Alan Wake will get Post-Release DLC and will have episodes kinda like a TV show.

Now I don't know about you but Lost happens to be one of my favorite TV shows and Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, so this has me uber excited

Gamestop has Alan Wake's release date as April 12, 2010, hopefully it will actually be released then and not be pushed back once again as I and many others have been patiently awaiting it's arrival since it was announced back in 2006

Read about this a couple times in GameInformer and it looks promising. What's your favorite King novel? I'd have to pick the Dark Tower series. I read most of his shit when I was in high school. Not as much these days.

jen's favorite is "the shining" followed closely by "misery."
neither of us have read any of the dark tower series.

i think my favorite is "desperation."
"cujo" and "the stand" are amazing as hell. so is "christine." ah hell how can i pick?!

anyway, i'm looking forward to this game very much.
they mention twin peaks as somewhat of an inspiration too. VERY good series.

It's a neat concept and I like how they did it in Alone in the Dark so this will be interesting. If it's anything like a David Lynch movie, that would be awesometacular.

My Favorite Stephen King book is The Green Mile and my favorite Stephen King movie is Rose Red.
