Actually, freezing during games or in the dash are signs that the thing is about ready to puke...It also could be the cache is forked and needs an enema

Edit: Nevermind guys I took out my ethernet cable so I didn't sign into live and I turned my 360 on and it was fine. As soon as I plugged my ethernet cable into my 360 and signed in it froze up on me again so I'm calling this a problem on Microsofts end and not mine.

Don't rule out your ISP or your profile. If all you did was remove the ethernet cable it could be a poor connection between your home and live...and your profile could have become corrupt...
FWIW, no freezing on my end...
