Xbox Live Compensation = Undertow

Well, the speculation can end. The folks over at Gamerscoreblog announced today that the free game for the three+ weeks of Live headaches will be Undertow. The game will be free for a limited time, from Wednesday 1/23 at 5:00 a.m. EST until Monday 1/28 at 2:59 a.m. EST. The game normally costs 800 Microsoft points and is one of the highest rated and visually good looking XBLA titles.

EDIT: It was noted by John Porcaro in the comments section of the Gamerscoreblog post that if you already have Undertow to call support (1-800-4-MYXBOX in North America), as they will take care of you.

I wish they could release it now instead of Wednesday. I might forget to download it in that span of five days.

Undertow is a blast (pun intended) to play. Takes a bit to get the controls down, but then the fun never ends. Theres also 16 player death match mode.

man, this is awesome and unexpected! i was going to buy Undertow the next time i bought a MS points card but... woo! no i can just buy E4 and Omega Five instead yay

Undertow is a freaking sweet game, i'm proud of them for picking it.
people that have Undertow already should get Hexic or Yaris.
or Aegis Wing.

See this sucks. they get a free game and i can't download it because my x box is off to the shop. How they going to compensate me????

I called them and they told me that ANYONE THAT HAS AN XBOX 360 OUT DURING THE 3 WEEK PERIOD WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME AFTER THE FACT WHEN THEY GET THEIR XBOX
