ok then. i dont always look at the event page (i look at the top 3 on the front page, and even then i only click the ones that i might be in or plan on being in) so i didnt know that. well, ok then. i can see where your coming from w/ your input, but...its the players choice. so....guess youd just have to get a bunch of people to say a game other then a shooter...ive seen people say burnout paradise or whatever, but theyre the minority.
@prophesizer - its more of just a party night. we have fun cause we'll have all these good moments (or we used to. w/ small crowds its kinda hard :/ meh) but yea..it isnt for a certain game. we usually CHOOSE a certain game, but...sometimes we switch, sometimes we dont...it all depends on whos there

Usually we try and pick a game to be played before hand so people have time to rent it, buy it or gamefly it.

Top Dogs, I suggested Madden and other sports games all the time but no one wants to play so I gave up. Taco and everyone else like shooters.

i never liked shooters until i got my 360.
but the 360 has uh... well lots of them.
i was always strictly RPG on my SNES with a few MK games on the side.
got my N64, played mostly party games. gay. goldeneye was my first shooter. CLASSIC.
my PS1, i went back to nothing but RPGs. turn based, which was great at the time.
then my roommate had an xbox. and he had morrowind.
sandbox RPGs = sex.
upgraded to the 360 when oblivion came out. loved it, hated it, blew it's brains out.
and now fallout 3 is my favorite game of all time.
the 360 has had some awesome RPGs, but not many. lots of sports, actions and shooters.
shooters win and fail, but i'm a fan of some of them.
i... don't really know where i was going with this.
